It talks about a rich family, the Amberson family, who lived in America in 1873. “ The character of Isabel is rich, elegant and very proud. She's blond. The Character of Eugene is a veritable love of Isabel, he's attractive with the woman, but he doesn't rich. He's brown and tall. Georges is a Isabel's son. He's a nasty boy, jealous and selfish, and he doesn't want to work. He's brown hair, tall, and elegant as his mother. Lucy is Eugene's daughter. She fell in love with George. She's brown hair and very beautiful. She's soft and happy. Fanny is George's aunt. She's jealous, loving and monotonous. She's brown hair. The physical qualities of the movie are a music, that is beautiful and dramatic, the light and the black and white give at character a importance, and special effects. The objects allow a authenticity at this film, and remind the beginning of automobile's. I like this film because it is romantic, but it's long. ”

“ Ce film mémorable de Alfred Hitchcock m'a paru complexe dans la compréhension de l'histoire, en ce qui concerne la mort de la véritable femme d'Elster. En effet, le mystère dure très longtemps dans le film, ce qui nous donne envie de savoir la fin très vite. Il y a alors un inconvénient : le rythme du film étant lent, il faut attendre un certain temps avant que Scotie se rende compte de la vérité : sa bien aimée est toujours en vie. Cela peut lasser le spectateur& Malgré tout, le film est très intéressant et mérite d'être regardé avec attention. ”
